Susmit Acharya — Engineering & Neuroscience | Trinity College Dublin
I am an incoming Engineering UG student at Trinity College Dublin, aspiring to specialize in Biomedical Engineering in Year 3. I am spending the summer building my skills in this domain, via online courses from reputed companies/universities, job simulations, and hands-on projects, so that I can have a head start when college begins in the fall.
I look forward to using my skills to contribute to biomedical engineering and computational neuroscience research and commercial products.
My long term goal: how I can take on an interdisciplinary path of biomedical engineering, computational neuroscience and human-centered AI to extend the cognitive and communicative capability of mankind, not just automate tasks.
Research interests: Brain-Computer Interfaces, EEG Signal Processing, Computational Neuroscience, Applied Artificial Intelligence, Neurotechnology Hardware, Machine Learning, Deepfake Detection, Human-Centred AI
Looking for: Undergraduate Research Positions, Biomedical Engineering Internships, and Neuroscience Internships
